FOXNews.com - Bill Cosby: Blacks Should Fix Own Communities - Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Arts And Entertainment
As I was reading this article, I was reminded of my childhood. I have learned from my childhood that if I wanted to really get something done in my life, I needed to do it myself. Now since I am an adult, I understand the reason why teachers, my parents, and everyone else wanted to me do it myself. They knew that only I can do the job. It is true that teamwork is needed with projects.
One person cannot lift a havy object by themselves. Even in teamwork, the leader of the group does not set around and does nothing. If any group of people wants to better themselves and fix their communities, then they are the only ones that can do the job. Any form of government in the United States of America, cannot live others lives. Only WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES can do that.
We as individuals and as community must live our own lives. We cannot get others to do it for us and have the results in the way we want. As Yoda said in "Empire Strikes Back," "Do or do not, there is not try." We must do it ourselves.
Sky high, seek peace,
Brandon Bowers
